Garden Photography Policy
While on the grounds, visitors may be photographed by Naples Botanical Garden photographers. All photos taken within the Garden by Garden photographers/staff become the property of the Garden and may be used for the purpose of promoting the Garden.
All photography sessions, personal or promotional, must be reserved and a date and time set. There is a fee for photography sessions or promotional photo shoots that are not part of an event taking place at the Garden. This includes engagement photos, wedding/bridal photos and family portraits.
Amateur photographers and Garden guests may shoot pictures throughout the Garden without fees or permission required as long as they are for their personal use and enjoyment, rather than for commercial (profit making) or gallery (professional) use. Photographs cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever without written consent by Naples Botanical Garden.
Naples Botanical Garden reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises or to reproduce photographs of objects in its collection.
Personal/Professional Photo Shoot
The fee for a personal photo shoot is $250.00 for up to 10 persons, including the photographer, for non-exclusive use of the Garden. The rental fee is for a maximum of one hour. Additional time is available at the rate of $150.00 per hour, with a minimum increment of one hour. Because a photo shoot is scheduled just like an event, a Garden Membership does not entitle the party, or part thereof, to waive this fee. Naples Botanical Garden reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises or to reproduce photographs of objects in its collection.
Fees directly support the mission of the Garden - to connect people and plants through display, education, conservation and science.
Photo shoots must be scheduled at least seven days in advance of the actual date of the photo shoot. The fee must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the photography session. The Garden accepts cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express as forms of payment. All photo sessions must adhere to their scheduled appointments.

Promotional/Media Photo or Video Shoot
For a promotional or media-related photo shoot (for inclusion in a book, magazine, catalog, model portfolio, etc.) please contact the Rental Events Department at 239.326.1936 to schedule and determine if the shoot will be paid for in cash or in exchange for photo credit or editorial coverage.
All filming and photography must be conducted without disruption to the Garden's operations or limitations to accessibility of exhibits, entrances, exits, and other locations. The photographer and/or his/her crew must respect the presence of any Garden guests and employees.
