Class Title: Basics of Nature Photography: Focus on Composition

Class Description: Register for a four-class course that will help you capture a great image with your camera! Master Naturalist and photographer, Dr. Christine Cook, will illustrate successful techniques in the classroom and guide your practice in the Garden. This class is excellent for beginning to experienced photographers who want to know how to set up for better pictures.
Dates: Tuesdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25, 2014. Participants are encouraged to attend all four classes.
Cost: $30 Garden Members/ $35 Non-members per class
Materials List: Digital point-and-shoot or SLR camera; tripod (optional)

Instructor Bio: Dr. Christine Cook is a photographer, Florida Master Naturalist, and educator. Her images have been garnering local to international attention with an online photo display and permanent collections displayed at Literacy Volunteers of Collier County and Cafe Luna East. Her personal vision is driven by an interest in capturing emotion and mood within various settings such as landscapes, close-ups, and street scenes. She also enjoys being artistically creative with photographic and post-processing techniques. As a Florida Master Naturalist, her knowledge of the natural environment enhances the photographic experience and the results.
