Class Title: Fundamentals of Floral Design: My Two Cents

Instructor: Catherine Ware

Class Description: Learn the basics of floral design to better appreciate and interpret designs at the 61st Annual Naples Flower Show! Catherine Ware from the Naples Garden Club will teach participants simple floral design techniques using supplied flowers and containers. Catherine will provide her “two cents” on the best materials and strategies to make any arrangement look beautiful!

Date: Wednesday, March 12, 2014

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm

Location: Kapnick Center; White Classroom (124)

Class Size: 15 participants - Registration is closed, thank you for your interest.

Cost: $30 Garden Members/ $35 Non-members (includes supplied materials)

Materials List: Participants should bring clippers, towel, small trash bag, fun containers, and cuttings of leafy green plant material (optional)

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 5, 5:00pm

Instructor Bio: Catherine Ware has lived in Naples full-time for 19 years. During that time, she became a Master Gardener, a member of the International Palm Society, and a member of the local chapter of Ikebana International. She is a past president of Naples Garden Club and Master Flower Show Judge. Catherine has been on the Board of Naples Botanical Garden since 1999.
