Bill was recruited to be a judge for the American Orchid Society, and became accredited in 2001. When Bill moved to south Florida, he was excited to learn how to successfully grow orchids in our subtropical environment. Currently, Bill serves as treasurer for the Naples Orchid Society and represents this group as an "orchid doctor" at Naples Botanical Garden during season.
