Class Description: Do you dream of living off the land, but think few resources are available from native plants in southwest Florida? You might be surprised how many of our native plants were staples in Native American and pioneer cultures. Sign up for this special ethnobotanical tour from our Director of Education and Conservation, Chad Washburn, to learn how to identify our native plants with edible parts or practical qualities. On this tour, you will traverse native Gardens and Preserve habitats, so make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!
