Patchouli- Nationally touring, award winning songwriter Julie Patchouli and master guitarist Bruce Hecksel light up the air with sparkling acoustic sounds and their powerful contagious chemistry. Famous for that smiling voice that instantly turns a bad day into a good one, Patchouli’s down-to-earth, hopeful songwriting is “New American Folk” blending elements of folk, pop, flamenco and jazz with world beat rhythms. Patchouli’s sound has been described as “the harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel meet the guitar brilliance of the Gipsy Kings."
Local guitarist Joseph Peliska will be playing the evenings of 12/21, 12/22, 12/23. "Joseph Peliska began classical guitar instruction in the Suzuki method at age seven and at age thirteen, Joseph began to study with Rafael Padron of the University of Miami. Joseph has won numerous competitions, including top prizes with the Naples Music Club Annual Scholarship Competitions and the University of Miami Youth Guitar Competition. He teaches classical guitar through his private studio in Naples."
Katelyn Clampett will be playing one night only, 12/28, at Night Lights. Katelyn is a 22 year-old pop/rock/country singer/songwriter and '09 graduate of Berklee Songwriting Faculty and has been referred to as "a more soulful, edgier version of Taylor Swift." Her Strictly Business EP was released on April 1st, 2011, debuting at #27 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts. Katelyn was most recently seen as a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol, winning a golden ticket to Hollywood, after Kara Dioguardi told her that she "has the full package." Katelyn was chosen as one of the 10 best singer/songwriters in the country for a new music reality series on Bravo. Katelyn toured with Selena Gomez and the Scene, as a backup singer for their national tour, and as keyboardist and backup singer for Victoria Justice.
Wish Tree Station: Guests will write wishes on colorful flagging tape and tie them to pine trees located on the Performance Lawn.
Autograph Tree Ornament Station: Guests will use golf pencils to write messages on Clusia leaves as a take home ornament.
Festive food such as candied nuts, gourmet flavored popcorn, cider, hot chocolate, beer, wine, all available for purchase from the Garden Cart Cafe and their cart and individual roaming sales staff.
Dutchkinz food vendor will also be on site nightly, serving up fresh, made on the spot beignets and coffee.
