The main fishing will take place right behind the Kapnick Caribbean Garden. Staff and volunteers will be around from 9am-3pm to help visitors.
Survivor Man Tour with Chad Washburn; 9am — Join us for a tour of the native plants of the Garden’s Smith Uplands Preserve. This walking tour, suitable for both kids and adults, will explore the ethnobotanical uses of plants, ranging from baskets and fishing aids to fuel and food. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately.
*Please, no alcoholic beverages allowed in the Garden during special events.
