Shop Boutiques from Around the Country at Annual Garden Trunk Show

Naples Botanical Garden Hosts Their Annual Shopping Extravaganza February 11 & 12

NAPLES, FL - January 18, 2011 - Shoppers can begin warming up, as the Ninth Annual Trunk Show at Naples Botanical Garden will be opening on February 11 and 12, 2011 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with more than 20 vendors from across the nation. A wide variety of unique merchandise, from elegant jewelry and clothing for adults and children, to beautiful home accessories, will be on display. Adult admission is $12.95 for adults and $7.95 for children (ages 4-14) and includes admission to the Garden.

“As the Garden has continued to grow, especially over the last few years, we have worked to expand the annual Trunk Show with a greater variety of vendors to make it a true shopping destination event,” said Patti Novak, event co-chair. “This year we have a wonderful collection of boutiques that are truly unique to the area and fit the Garden’s values of quality and conservation.”

Attendees of the Patron Preview Party, being held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 5:30 p.m., will have an exclusive chance to see and shop the merchandise before the boutiques open to the public while they enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. These “VIP” tickets also provide all-access admission to shopping both Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available for $100 per person by reservation only.

Participating vendors include the following: Bay Head Bags & Home, CMM Designs, Dede Cadieux Designs, Francesca Joy, Ginny’s Orchids, Indo-Chic, Janet Egan Design, Jennifer Smith, JL Lane-Crossing Borders, Johnnie-O, K Madison Designs, Lillian Ostergard, Linens of Provence, Monogram Goods, Pomegranate Seeds, Rose & Harper, Rumor Has It, Sissy Pie Originals, Smathers & Branson, Snappy Gator, Three Sisters, Tropiflora, and Valerie Louthan Designs.

Shoppers can also take comfort that their purchases will be for a worthy cause. Fifteen percent of gross sales during the two-day event will benefit the Garden, helping its growth in exploration, education and conservation of our natural landscapes.
