Naples Botanical Garden Hires Meghan Clancy as Special Events Manager
Event Season Preparation Includes a New Face at the Garden
NAPLES, FL July 21, 2010 – Naples Botanical Garden today announced it has hired Meghan Clancy to the position of Special Events Manager.
"We are so pleased to have Meghan aboard as we prepare for our upcoming event season at the Garden,” said Brian Holley, executive director. “Our annual events, such as the Opening Celebration week of activities this November, require a great deal of planning and coordination, skills at which Meghan excels.”
In her new role Ms. Clancy will oversee Garden events such as the Opening Celebration, Hats in the Garden, and the Swing into Spring Golf Tournament.
Ms. Clancy joins the Garden with over five years of experience in event planning and marketing. Prior to the Garden, this Naples, Florida native served as the Special Events Coordinator at a regional nonprofit, after holding marketing positions for Chicago area businesses for almost three years. Ms. Clancy holds a B.A. of Arts in both Communications and Spanish from Ohio State University.
