Naples Botanical Garden Spring Event Series Begins


Food, Music, and Family Activities Make the Garden a Frequent ‘Must See’

NAPLES, FL – February 5, 2010 – Naples Botanical Garden invites you to embrace the season and join us for our Spring Series in the Garden with special events every week February through April. There is something for everyone no matter the age, interests, or schedule as our events range from end-of week jazz infused happy-hours and weekend family activities, to mid-week cooking demonstrations, and even Sunday brunch.

Each month we will have one themed event each week so that you can add them to your calendar and know what to plan for.

First Call Friday 

On the first Fridays of the month we will host a happy hour – Garden style – with live musical performances, food and drinks from 5:15pm-7:00 pm. Mark your calendars for the following performances:

  • March 5th – Frontline Bluegrass
  • April 2nd – William Noll Quartet
  • Special April Mambo Brothers Performance! (Date To Be Announced)

Second Saturday: Family Fun Day 

Join in on the fun family activities the second Saturdays of the month from 10am-3pm. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the themed days and interactive activities that both entertain and educate in the Children’s Garden.

Third Sunday Brunches

Enjoy Sundays as they should, with a relaxing brunch, soothing music and beautiful sunshine amidst the tropical landscapes of the Garden. This unique experience will be hosted from 10am-1:00pm on the third Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

February 21st - March 21st - April 25th

$40 member adults/$20 member child

$45 non-member adult/$25 non-member child

Fourth Wednesday Cooking Demonstrations

Get cooking on the fourth Wednesdays of the month from 5:15pm-7:00pm with live cooking demonstrations where celebrated Naples-based chefs prepare food, provide green/eco-friendly cooking tips, and offer up tastings of their delicious creations. Please RSVP prior to attending:

  • February 24th – Tony Ridgway of Tony’s Off Third, Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar, and Ridgway Bar & Grill
  • March 24th – Chef John Phillips, owner of CaterMasters
  • April 28th – Chef from Naples Beach Hotel

*Regular Admission ($4.95-$9.95 for non-members, members are free) applies for all events with the exception of the Third Sunday Brunches (members -$40 per adult/ $20 per child or $45/$25 for non-members).
