Bird is the word today! Celebrate the Southwest Florida Nature Festival at Rookery Bay and the beginning of the spring bird migration in the Smith Children's Garden! Discover what makes a bird a bird, find out ways you can help local birds with the Collier County Audubon Society, and make a birdfeeder to take home. Continue the celebration at Rookery Bay today and receive $2 off adult admission with your NBG receipt.

Tour Admission: $5 for children ages 4-14, $10 for adults (includes admission to the Garden)
SCHEDULE: 8am - Audubon Young Birders Tour 10:30am - WONDER Program activities 11am - Learn about the Audubon Bluebird Rescue Team noon - Wonder Program activities 1pm - Listen to an excerpt from Cat & Crow and meet the author, Lisa Fleming. Lisa will be around until 3pm to sign books, available for purchase in the Visitor Center.
Ongoing 10-3pm: - Make tennis can birdfeeders with Audubon - Learn about birds at the Nature on Wheels table
