About the Tours

History and Highlights: Discover the beauty of the cultivated gardens, learn highlights of our history and conservation efforts, and immerse yourself in landscape design in this guided journey through Naples Botanical Garden.

Most Valuable Plants: Naples Botanical Garden is home to an abundance of valuable plants. All plants are inherently valuable, and these plants are considered valuable for a variety of reasons. Some are eaten, some are used as raw material, some are cultural symbols, and some derive their value from their rarity. These plants, however, are not just MVPs because they have significance to humans; they all provide ecosystem services in their native habitats and inspire responsible cultivation and conservation practices.

Art and Special Exhibitions: Join us as we explore pieces of art in the Garden’s permanent collection and this year’s special exhibitions.

Water Features and Aquatic Plants: Take a deeper look at the water features throughout the Garden! On this guided walk, you will learn about aquatic plants and the hidden secrets of our water features.

Orchids and Epiphytes: Naples Botanical Garden has a great variety of orchids and epiphytes growing throughout the gardens. Join us on a guided journey to look up, down, and all around at these plants that may be hiding in plain sight!

Natural Areas: Naples Botanical Garden is the ideal place for people to learn about native Florida ecosystems and best practices for conservation. Learn about the habitats and wildlife in the Preserve on this guided walk.

Soil to Spoon: Discover the edible plants that grow in nearly every part of the Garden. From Asia to the Caribbean, we’ll hunt down fruits, vegetables, and spices! Passport not required on this trip around the Garden.

Intertwined: Discover the many ways that the natural world is interconnected and interdependent on this guided tour which highlights our 2021-22 annual theme, “Intertwined.”
