Event Description
Explore the Garden like you never have before– in the dark. On this guided hike, we’ll take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Garden as the landscape transforms from day to night. We’ll view sunset over the Preserve, let our eyes get adjusted to the night, and then head into the uplands habitat to learn more about nocturnal life in the Garden. Participants should be prepared to walk about 1.5 miles/two hours on uneven ground in the dark. Flashlights are helpful for navigating the parking lot, but will not be used during the hike. This is also an adult only event, so leave the little ones at home.
