Join Naples Botanical Garden’s Conservation Team for a weekly tour of the Garden’s natural areas in the Smith Uplands Preserve. This engaging walk through coastal scrub habitat is an opportunity to see one of Florida’s most endangered plant communities with an expert from the Garden. The Smith Preserve is home to a number of Florida’s most charismatic species, including gopher tortoises, insectivorous plants, ghost orchids, and a number of birds.
Please wear lightweight clothing, long sleeves and pants, closed-toe shoes, hat, and sunglasses. Please also bring a water bottle, and wear sunscreen and insect repellent if you are sensitive to the sun and mosquitoes.
Wild Wednesdays are included with regular Garden admission.
