Together\, poets and appreciators explore the poetry of nature—its beauty\, form\, and function—while cultivating a safe\, welcoming space for all. Let your voice bloom and connect with fellow artists within the Garden’s verdant embrace. \n\n\n\nPlant Poetry: Open Mic\, 2 – 4pmMarch 15April 19May 10 \n\n\n\nThis event is open to the public and is included with Garden admission; free for Members. All are welcome to listen; registration is not required to attend the event as a listener. Participants who register to read or recite in advance will receive complimentary Garden admission. \n\n\n\n\nRegister to Read or Recite\n\n\n\nPurchase Garden Admission\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipant capacity is limited to 20; please register in advance.\n\n\n\nParticipants interested in reading or reciting should register prior to the the event using the registration link above. \n\n\n\nOnly one participant registration is allotted per order. \n\n\n\nParticipants who register after 12pm the day of the event will need to check in with Natalie Guerra upon arrival.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Natalie Guerra \n\n\n\nNatalie Guerra is a poet from Fort Myers\, Florida\, and a first-generation American born to Salvadoran parents. She views life through a lens of opportunity and optimism. Although passionate about writing\, she studied biology at the University of South Florida-St. Petersburg and also spent time abroad studying French and Spanish. After working in emergency medicine and pharmacology\, Guerra rediscovered her creative voice through poetry. She is the author of over 200 poems focused on G.R.O.W.T.H.\, an acronym she uses to describe grieving\, resting\, and writing to heal. Beyond her own work\, Guerra actively supports the local literary community by hosting open mics\, writer’s circles\, and other events for poets and storytellers. She has built a network of over 100 writers across Southwest Florida and continues to create safe spaces for connection and self-expression through writing.
