Works in acrylic\, oil\, charcoal\, and pastel inspire the viewer to experience nature through an artist’s perspective\, exploring Naples Botanical Garden as a living canvas. \n\n\n\nExhibit on display April 26 – June 29 in Kapnick Hall  \n\n\n\nAbove photo: Brazilian Jazz\, 2024 (detail) \n\n\n\n\nPurchase Garden Admission Now\n\n\n\n\nIncluded with Garden admission; free for Members \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Artist\n\n\n\nTanya Trinkaus Glass\, photo by John Eder\n\n\n\nTanya Trinkaus Glass was born in Baltimore\, Maryland\, and grew up in the Northeast where she spent her childhood exploring the outdoors. Her researched approach to creating was nurtured by her mother\, a landscape painter\, and her father\, an embryologist. While in high school\, Glass sourced slide material for art history classes at Yale University; she later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at the University of Rhode Island. Glass has been accepted into nearly 200 juried exhibitions\, won multiple awards for her artwork\, and exhibited in over two-dozen solo exhibitions. She lives and works in Naples\, Florida\, where she continues to learn new approaches to creating\, expanding on her appreciation for nature\, and the importance of conservation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery Garden admission ticket or membership purchase helps to support Naples Botanical Garden’s conservation efforts.

While in high school\, Glass sourced slide material for art history classes at Yale University; she later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at the University of Rhode Island. Glass has been accepted into nearly 200 juried exhibitions\, won multiple awards for her artwork\, and exhibited in over two-dozen solo exhibitions. Her researched approach to creating was nurtured by her mother\, a landscape painter\, and her father\, an embryologist. While in high school\, Glass sourced slide material for art history classes at Yale University; she later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at the University of Rhode Island. Glass has been accepted into nearly 200 juried exhibitions\, won multiple awards for her artwork\, and exhibited in over two-dozen solo exhibitions. She lives and works in Naples\, Florida\, where she continues to learn new approaches to creating\, expanding on her appreciation for nature\, and the importance of conservation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery Garden admission ticket or membership purchase helps to support Naples Botanical Garden’s conservation efforts.
