Naples Garden Club Idea Garden
The NGC Idea Garden is a source of inspiration, education, and creativity for south Florida gardeners. You can learn more about many of these through our Lifelong Learning courses.
Buehler Family Foundation Enabling Garden
The Buehler Family Foundation Enabling Garden promotes gardening for visitors of all ages and abilities. It serves to inspire and offer barrier-free access to the pleasures of the garden experience with features and plants that provide multiple sensory stimuli. The garden showcases adaptive design including tools, equipment, and techniques for people of all abilities to participate in the art of gardening. In addition, the garden palate provides a living catalogue of the best plants for gardens in Southwest Florida. Guests can meditate by walking on the Jeannie Meg and Christopher Byron Smith Labyrinth, looking out onto tranquil Deep Lake.
Programs in the Buehler Enabling Garden include a pre-vocational training program for exceptional student education (ESE) classes from Lely High School, ESE Field trips for students of all ages, and a sensory program in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Support Network for people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
This garden was designed by Miami-based, award winning landscape architect Raymond Jungles. Raymond Jungles fell in love with the outdoors as a child through exploration and sport.
