Kids do a craft in kid-friendly program W.O.N.D.E.R.

Come and join us for our kid-friendly W.O.N.D.E.R. in the Garden program! No registration necessary. Together families will imagine, create, and explore throughout the Garden with fun lessons and activities about a monthly theme. No prior registration necessary. All W.O.N.D.E.R programs are included with regular Garden admission for kids and adults. The program begins at 10:30am daily. Details and monthly themes listed below.

binocularsJanuary – Feathered Friends

Location: Scott Florida Garden
Beaks, feathers, and wings, oh my! Discover the world of birds this month. Explore feathers up close, and create your own pair of binoculars to search out birds on the fly. Encourage a bird-friendly habitat in your own backyard by planting some Florida-native fiddlewood seeds.

orchid February – Super Plants

Location: Performance Lawn

Love is in the air, and so are plants! Join us at W.O.N.D.E.R. all February long on the Performance Lawn as we turn our attention from the ground to learn about air plants, epiphytes, and orchids—what we affectionately refer to as super plants.

Location: Lea Asian Garden
It’s that time of year when we stop and smell not just the roses, but all the wonderful blooms! Drop by the W.O.N.D.E.R. program in the Lea Asian Garden throughout March to learn fascinating flower facts with a dissection activity, dream garden design challenge, flower design challenge, flower pounding prints, and much more!

Now you see them … now you don’t! Come learn about nature’s greatest game of hide-and-seek: camouflage! Discover the incredible critters that hide in plain sight—and maybe make your own camo critter to take with you!
