Beyond field trips, the Garden offers a Teach-the-Teacher model program for starting and maintaining a small, educational garden. Gardening programs offer many benefits to teachers, students, and communities. As outdoor classrooms providing alternative learning, school gardens increase educational equity, giving all children opportunities to excel.
