See the natural world from a whole new perspective. Here, towering air plants offer shade like a Florida live oak, orchid petals may tickle the top of your head, and a greenhouse frog—no bigger than a thumbtack in real life—might make an ideal companion on your stroll through the Garden. All invite you to imagine what it feels like to be just one inch tall.
At this new scale, hidden relationships and quiet processes come into view. The intricate connections that sustain plants, animals, and the ecosystems we share are revealed, reminding us that the living world is expansive, complex, and wonderful.
About the Artist
Puerto Rican artist Pseudomero, Ph.D., is an art activist, historian, and educator. His work has been exhibited throughout the southeastern United States and blends impressionism, graffiti, digital photography, and expressionism. Using reclaimed and repurposed materials, he specializes in drawing with a background in printmaking, murals, and mixed media. While based in Naples, he has spent the past three years exploring the Everglades collecting photos, audio and visual recordings, and sketches that inform much of this exhibition. He uses his work to spark meaningful conversations and inspire change.
