Naples Botanical Garden is the recipient of the 2017 Award for Garden Excellence, voted on by our peers and fellow members of the American Public Gardens Association.

We couldn’t do it without you – so let’s celebrate!

On Sunday, January 21 from 9 am to 5 pm, we will enjoy all that makes the Garden excellent.

Buy your ticket when you arrive on January 21 and save $5 per ticket!

AND enjoy $10 off Garden membership at any level (new or renewal). This limited time offer is available on January 21, 2018 in person only.

Event Schedule:

Performance Lawn will host informational tables on Garden Membership and the Volunteer Program, as well as music on the Water Garden stage from 10am to 4pm.

  • 10 – 11 am: Legacy Tree lecture by Brian Galligan

Brian Galligan, Director of Horticulture, will share how many tropical trees have a lifespan into the thousands of years; however, some Naples trees may only survive until the next new homeowner renovates his landscape. With modern machines and a little horticultural understanding, successfully relocated these arboreal giants to Naples Botanical Garden, where lucky trees can find a new life and are named our legacy trees.

  • 2 – 3 pm: Conservation lecture by Chad Washburn

Deputy Director Chad Washburn will highlight some of Naples Botanical Garden’s native plant conservation efforts in Florida and the Garden’s expanding role in plant conservation in the Caribbean basin region.
