Inspired by Historias del aire y del suelo | Stories of Air and Soil, this workshop invites participants to explore art as a tool for storytelling, observation, and environmental connection. Using recycled materials, participants will create original works inspired by Pseudomero’s exhibition, reflecting on the ecological relationships that connect people, plants, and place.

Free for Members / $27 Non-Members; includes Garden admission

Workshop will be indoors in Kapnick Hall
Workshop will be bilingual (Spanish/English)
Participants are invited but not required to bring printed photos of plants that hold personal meaning.

About the Artist

Puerto Rican artist Pseudomero, Ph.D., is an art activist, historian, and educator. His work has been exhibited throughout the southeastern United States and blends impressionism, graffiti, digital photography, and expressionism. Using reclaimed and repurposed materials, he specializes in drawing with a background in printmaking, murals, and mixed media. While based in Naples, he has spent the past three years exploring the Everglades collecting photos, audio and visual recordings, and sketches that inform much of this exhibition. He uses his work to spark meaningful conversations and inspire change.
