Naples Botanical Garden welcomes artists and creators to enjoy the plants and habitats of the tropics while working en plein air.
General Guidelines
- Pathways must remain open to guests.
- Artists must remove all materials and debris.
- Artists may use restrooms to dispose of wash water or ask a Garden team member for assistance.
- Plant material, including fruits, leaves, and seeds, may be observed and painted but not collected.
- Turpentine, spray paint, glitter, confetti, and plant material are not permitted; media that emits strong odors are not permitted inside Fogg Café.
- Artists may not bring work for sale or solicit Garden guests for artwork sales.
- Artists working in Fogg Café should not disrupt food service or seating.
Plein air painting is allowed during regular visiting hours with the exception of:
- Johnsonville Night Lights in the Garden
- Blooms & Brews
- Other ticketed events
