Works in acrylic, oil, charcoal, and pastel inspire the viewer to experience nature through an artist’s perspective, exploring Naples Botanical Garden as a living canvas.

About the Artist

Tanya Trinkaus Glass was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up in the Northeast where she spent her childhood exploring the outdoors. Her researched approach to creating was nurtured by her mother, a landscape painter, and her father, an embryologist. While in high school, Glass sourced slide material for art history classes at Yale University; she later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at the University of Rhode Island. Glass has been accepted into nearly 200 juried exhibitions, won multiple awards for her artwork, and exhibited in over two-dozen solo exhibitions. She lives and works in Naples, Florida, where she continues to learn new approaches to creating, expanding on her appreciation for nature and the importance of conservation.
