Garden Workshops

Dive into the art of nature journaling, craft botanical creations, or learn how to use your smartphone camera for nature photography. Explore Garden Workshops and get the most out of your Garden experience.

Garden Grounds Cart Tours

Journey through the Garden grounds on a guided cart tour, get an exclusive behind-the scenes look at our Evenstad Horticulture Campus, and enjoy views of the Garden’s 90 acres of conserved natural areas. This 45-minute staff-led tour takes place on a quiet electric cart.

This tour is offered twice-daily at 10:30am & 12:30pm. Space is limited; reserve your tour today!

Daily Tours

Daily Tours are offered once daily from 9:30 – 10am.

Take a 30-minute guided tour with a Garden educator to learn about our collections and the work we do to conserve tropical and subtropical plants around the globe.

Dig Deeper

Join Garden education staff at 11 – 11:30am daily for Dig Deeper, an interactive drop-in program in which you can learn a new skill, ask questions, and gain insight.

Morning Mile

This program is offered select Mondays at 10am, January – April.

Enjoy views of our paved lake trail, participate in some light stretches, and learn about the natural ecosystems of Florida.

Plant Poetry

Whether you wish to read or recite poetry or simply listen to others, Plant Poetry will connect you with like-minded peers in a welcoming space while celebrating the art of poetry.

Birding in the Garden

Birding in the Garden takes place every Tuesday* from 8 – 10am. Meet at the Smith Entry Prow.

Discover the avian species that call the Garden home as you join our birding volunteers on this weekly morning walk in our 90-acre Preserve.

*Please note Birding in the Garden will take place on Mondays in August and September.
