*About Marcia Borel: Marcia first saw Sogetsu Ikebana in 1993, when she and her family moved to Tokyo. It caught her heart, and she has studied it ever since. Marcia has exhibited and demonstrated in Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Iowa, Japan, and Florida—including Longwood Gardens, Naples Botanical Garden, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia Flower Show, Brunnier Art Museum, Nippon Club NY, and Delaware Contemporary Museum. She has now reached Riji, the highest degree awarded from Sogetsu School in Tokyo. Best of all, through Sogetsu, she has found an interesting perspective on the world around her and found many kindred spirits along the way. Come sit with her for a while and see Sogetsu through your own eyes!
