Discover this meditative art, and fall in love with the spirit of Ikebana. View Ikebana arrangements, attend demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities for the kids, and stock up at the Ginza-style marketplace for all you need to take up this immersive pastime.

This exhibition is presented in partnership with Naples Ikebana International #160, the local chapter of Ikebana supporters, experts, and enthusiasts. This year’s exhibition, Celebrating 50 Years of Friendship Through Flowers, will feature designs in the schools of Ikenobo, Sogetsu, Sensho Ikenobo, and Ohara.


Guests may experience the following each day of the exhibit:

• Artistic Ikebana arrangements in Kapnick Hall
• A unique Sogetsu bamboo sculpture made with bamboo harvested from the Garden
• Live Ikebana demonstrations on the Performance Lawn featuring Sensei
   o Friday-Sunday at 10am, 11am, 12pm, and 1pm
   o Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (Friday ONLY at 9:30am)

• Ginza-style market inside Kapnick Hall where Ikebana materials may be purchased
• There will be a special W.O.N.D.E.R. demonstration from 10:30am – 12pm on the Performance Lawn. Artists of all ages may show off their creativity by designing a flower arrangement inspired by the ancient Japanese art known as Ikebana.


Come visit our show to experience for yourself the spirit of Ikebana.

Entry to the exhibition, located in Kapnick Hall, is included with Garden admission.

No tripods will be permitted in Kapnick Hall.
