Picture Perfect! Smartphone Nature Photography

See the Garden through a new lens! Discover how to capture your experiences in nature with your smartphone camera. Beginners will start their own portfolio of nature photography that captivates viewers and encourages the exploration of natural spaces.

Fall Flower Crowns

November 8, 10 – 11am

Celebrate fall with a handmade flower crown! Follow along with a Garden educator as you weave dried flowers into a wearable keepsake and learn about the Garden’s tropical plant collection along the way.

Cocktail Scavenger Hunt

February 13, 6 – 7pm

Challenge yourself with this Garden-wide scavenger hunt where you’ll use clues to find plant ingredients and answer trivia before being rewarded with a special cocktail. Learn all about your plant-inspired beverage from a Garden educator.  

This workshop takes place during Friday After 5.

Colorful Croton Paint & Sip

March 13, 6 – 7pm

Let nature inspire you during a one-hour Friday After 5 paint & sip workshop! Enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine while painting a colorful croton for a relaxing evening at the Garden. Follow along with a Garden educator while you learn a few fun facts about the plants on your canvas.   

This event takes place during the Naples Flower Show & Garden Market.

Soil to Spoon Walking Tour & Tasting

Join a Garden Educator to learn all about how tropical plants can tickle your taste buds. Peer beyond the grocery store aisle and discover a delicious array of plants to inspire the palate. Enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine accompanied by samples of some of the plants discussed along the way!    

Fabulous Flower Corsages

May 9, 10 – 11am

Add some floral flair to your wardrobe with a handmade flower corsage! Join a Garden educator on a short stroll through the Garden, followed by a guided lesson to create a fabulous floral corsage you can wear to impress your friends or gift to someone special.


Nature Journaling Workshops

Introduction to Nature Journaling Workshop: Line & Shape

Join us at Naples Botanical Garden to learn the basics of nature journaling, a creative arts practice that brings you closer to the natural world around you. Budding artists will cultivate their artistic skills and creativity during this 90-minute, in-person class, with no prior art experience required. All supplies, such as a journal and watercolor pencils, are included in your take-home kit; just bring yourself and a curiosity about nature! This is part one of a three-part nature journaling series.

Intermediate Nature Journaling Workshop: Value & Color

Enhance your skills in nature journaling, a creative arts practice that brings you closer to the natural world around you. We encourage you to attend our Introduction to Nature Journaling Workshop prior to registering for this intermediate course. If you do not have materials from the introductory course, you can purchase materials upon registration.
