Have you seen me on our beaches? 🌿🏖️

Meet the railroad vine (Ipomoea pes-caprae)—a hardy, salt-tolerant native that carpets coastal dunes with bright purple blooms. This resilient vine helps stabilize sandy shorelines while adding a splash of color to our coastlines. 🌊

If you’re curious to learn more about plants like railroad vine and how they shape our coastal landscape, join us on Wednesday, November 12, at Lowdermilk Park for Beach Talks: Dig Into Dunes. 🌾

This 40-minute, educator-led walk and talk will take you into the world of dunes and the plants that make them possible. Register for free at the link in our bio; space is limited. Go to Programs & Events 👉 Beach Talks: Dig Into Dunes. 🐚✨
